Hi my name is James. I am a graduate of Full Sail University’s Computer Animation program and a graduate of the Defense Information School in Maryland. Between the two educational experiences I honed both a 3D and 2D skillset. I have been making a living creating digital artwork for around 13 years. Within the last 5 yrs. I’ve been working as an environment and props artist in the gaming industry. I have been on development teams working on projects for Electronic Arts, Activision, THQ, Disney/Pixar, Codemasters and Majesco. I’m an online teacher of Unity game engine and basic game development principles.
My most recently shipped game titles are Jaws : Ultimate Predator (3DS), Hot Wheels: Track Attack for Wii and DS, Need for Speed: Undercover, Need for Speed: Nitro (Nintendo DS), SpongeBob Boat Bash (Nintendo DS), Cars 2 (Nintendo DS) and Octane Engine Wii Demo.
I’m always looking for that in-studio experience, but for the time being I’m currently working on projects under the name fatBOX Software. I am documenting the entire development process and creating tutorials for Unity, Maya and Photoshop along the way. Feel free to click on the Facebook link in the upper right hand corner and give me a “like” on the studio page.
